Manchester United show its quality and maintaining 7 points lead with a game in hand. Pretty interesting fact if you could see this when they drew 1 all with the Toons in early season. Before the game Sir Alex comment that Man United probably losing point are simply not going to happened on tonight match. Maybe it could happen on Sunday when Man Utd are playing against Liverpool at Old Trafford but betting against United at old trafford this season ??? would only lead you to poverty.
About tonight match....There are one thing i could conclude " The Toons lost and even Steve Bennett cant help" A good game were spoilt with lowest level of referring and it is so obvious behind the 11 toons army there are Steve Bennett who protecting them again the mighty United. It is beyond my belief to see all the following offence by the toon where escaped from the eyes of Steve Bennett.
- 2 red card offences made by the toons
- plenty of hand possession in the toon penalty box.
- Unfair challenges in the penalty box (see the pic)
It's a disgrace of performance by Steve Bennett and as far as i could remember Steve Bennett was never been a good referee ever. The capability shown specially on this match where far below the average of English Premier League standard . My suggestion is let this season be his last since he is not just losing his hair , he is slowly losing his sight and awareness. He is just to old for Premier League actions.
Man Of The Match

|0 commentsWhat a fab footbal match! U may know by now the result is Man Utd 0-0 Inter Milan.
It is not the result or tactical display that caught my interest to blog about nor the statement's and attack made by Jose Morinho prior to the match but it is the performance of both Inter's goalkeeper. Yes the goollie ! No , no subtitution on goalkeeper for Inter on that match were made but both of them have made an impact of what is anything is everything.
Let me begin with the run of performance for Julio Cesar who were fielded as the last man at the post. There are at least 4 sure goal attempts toward Inter's goal but all were denied by a spectacular save by the Brazilian. An attempt which in normal premier league games you will witness Man United's players, would reel off, celebrating within seconds later but that didnt happen. Julio blocked, saved and at one time he even played as a defender when he blocked Rooney's ball possession out side the penalty box. Tremendous performance , simply world class form ( I even wish that Sir Alex would consider to buy him during the next transfer window) It's just unbelievable showpiece even Christiano Ronaldo was shouting out loud, frustrated on seeing his attempt being pushed away.
When I was about to conclude that Julio Cesar to be named as the top performers of the match, here come the incident were the Inter's no 1 player Francesco Toldo who were side lined for the match get booked. It happened when he jumped out from his chair to protest on an incident on the pitch. What on earth was he doing ? An experienced player like him should pretty much aware any abnormal activities on the bench would lead you to a booking. In my entire experience as a football fanatic never ever I witnessed a substitute get a yellow card when he is not even playing.
Extraordinary ! Mind strategy by Francesco Toldo, being booked on the bench creates a new record, it gives an bold impression to the manager how he can influence the referee in his decision making and attention. Getting booked, make him the first on the match to be booked which later make the referee realise how good it feels to flash the yellow card and at the end 7 yellow cards were flashed to each team.
Bottom line ... Francesco Toldo deserved the title - Man Of the Match!!
